About

Amargamente is a short film made by Audiovisual Communication students from the Universitat Politècnica de València. In this project, we explore to which extent people can escape from and forget their past through the perspective of a woman who returns home after the death of her mother. There, she evokes the memories that led her to leave.

Origin

The script is inspired by the Greek tragedy of Ajax. In it, Ulysses ensures that Ajax, despite being his enemy, receives a dignified burial for having been a great warrior.
