Synopsis
First contact
What would happen if Dionysus, the greek god of wine and sex, would be embodied in a modern day young guy? We would likely stumble upon a marvellous and abundant life of Dioni, a young fella of twenty something years, cheered by frenetic youngsters who every night give their all on the dance floor. This party-filled and wild life might seem irresistible to some, but Dioni reveals the truth that hides behind the alcohol and drugs and helps him to stand himself and to induce to sex as an escape route during his first therapy sesión.
Characters
Dioni
Our protagonist, Dioni, is a sick-looking guy due to the night life, drugs and alcohol. He’s sick of everyone’s acclaim and being followed as an example when in reality his life is sh*t. Dioni is a representation of the mythological god of wine and sex Dionysus.
Mother
Dioni’s mother is a woman who has lost faith in his son after all the disappointment he’s provoked. She is of strong nature, that’s why we barely see sorrow in her eyes, just disappointment.
Ariadna
Ariadna is Dioni’s therapist. Her countenance and professionalism aid Dioni to disrobe his emotions for the first time when speaking about his vast problem. As well as Dioni, Ariadna is also a signature greek mythology character, linked to the god Dionysus as his partner.
